Innoviant Specialty Pharmacy Program

Specialty Medication

Are you currently using a high cost oral or injectable medication for a chronic condition? If so, and your employer has elected this program, you may order them quickly and conveniently through the Innoviant Specialty Pharmacy Program (SPP). This program provides access to our preferred specialty pharmacy providers who are experts in high-cost medications and the complex storage, delivery, and administration requirements that often accompany them.

We understand the medication you are taking is extremely important to your health and are happy to provide you with this opportunity for receiving your specialty medication. Through the SPP, your physician may order medications from our preferred providers and have them delivered directly to your home, the physician's office, or any other location you prefer.

Innoviant's SPP and preferred specialty pharmacy providers offer valuable services to improve your health that you may not be receiving now, including:

►  Access to patient care coordinators
►  Side-effect and utilization compliance monitoring
►  Availability of educational materials
►  Access to clinical pharmacists
►  Product delivery anywhere you choose

In addition, your costs may be lowered. If you are currently covered by a co-insurance plan, your out-of-pocket costs may be reduced because our preferred pharmacies supply these medications at a discount-many of which may be deeper than those offered by a retail pharmacy or your current medical plan.

NOTE: When your plan selects Innoviant's SPP, you will be required to utilize Prescription Solutions Specialty Pharmacy and no longer be allowed to fill prescriptions for these products at retail or mail service pharmacies. In addition, your benefits plan may also select special co-pays for these products. Please see your plan documents or contact an Innoviant customer service representative if you have questions.
